I was first introduced to Guy four years ago by a mutual friend, and attended one of his coffee mornings to see what it was all about. Having been very inspired by his very calm and laid back approach to horse training and breaking I decided to give him a challenge of a life time, I bought two 3 year olds in Germany who we had paid to be broken in prior to being sent back to the UK, however when they came off the transporter into our yard - clearly they had not been touched never mind broken in.
Guy very kindly offered to help to load them and followed us back to his yard where they stayed for a 6 week period. The transformation of these two horses was unbelievable by day 7 he was already on one of them and the horses confidence was amazing to watch, I can say that even four years on there is one of these same horses imported with ours who is still yet to be fully broken in, having being passed from person to person to break in and no one able to properly do it.
After this experience, I was so pleased with Guys work and ability he always has my homebred horses for a few weeks as 2/3 year olds then again as 3/4 year olds before sending them back to me sat on and comfortable in walk trot and canter. I am very happy to say the partnership we have with Guy has helped me to 9 regional titles, two national titles and also gain the ride and a few difficult horses which with Guys help have been unbelievable trainable they just needed putting on the right lines to shine.
