COWBOY CAMP 2022
Lincoln, 24th/25th/26th & 27th June 2022 

Welcome to our annual Cowboy Camp UK. 

Cowboy camp is a clinic like no other. It’s an opportunity to give purpose to your horses training, developing confidence body control and purpose. Over 4 days horses and riders are able to work through a series of different exercises spending time working cattle in and out of the arena, roping and working out on the trail. This picturesque 200-acre farm provides the perfect environment to develop yours and your horse’s partnership, build confidence and most importantly have a lot of fun doing it.

Group 1 - 8:30am to 10:30am 
Group 2 - 10:30am to 12:30pm

Day 1 (AM)
Body control exercises in preparation for working cattle
Introduction to the cutting flag
Introduction to cattle.
 

Day 1 (PM)
Cattle handling – cutting, sorting, penning
 
Day 2 (AM)
Cutting, sorting, penning
Doctoring – Sorting cattle in the A pen and working them through the crush.


Day 2 (PM)
Working cattle in the herd out in the pasture
 
Day 3 ( AM)
Introduction to Roping on the ground – building loops, swings and shots
Introducing horse to ropes
Dummy Roping horseback
 

Day 3 (PM) 
Trail Riding
Tackling Obstacles on the trail
 
Day 4 – (AM/PM) Competition Day
Cattle working competition – Sorting in teams

EVENING ACTIVITIES 
Roping Horse back (Start 5pm) 
Trail Ride (Start 5pm)
 

Group A - 8:30am to 10:30am 
Group B - 10:30am to 12:30pm

Participant/Rider: £600 per rider/horse 

What's included: Clinic tuition, camping/parking, facility hire.  

What's NOT included:
Pen/Stable/food/hook up 
PAYMENT 

If you click on the below link you can pay the balance for the clinic £600, we can not accept cash on the day of the clinic, all payments are made through paypal in order for us a) track who is on the event b) collect balances c) inform you all of any changes to the event. You don't need to have a PayPal account you simply need a bank card and you can log in as a guest. Once you have booked onto the event via PayPal a confirmation email will be sent to you.

Terms and Conditions

1. All persons attending this clinic/lessons, whether participating or as a spectator, do so at their own risk. The Organisers and Landowners do not accept responsibility for any accidents to persons, their animals or property. Entries accepted & admission granted subject to these conditions

2. All participants are strongly advised to ensure that they carry adequate third party insurance cover.

3. Hard Hats up to current standard MUST BE WORN whilst mounted or handling any horse. The wearing of gloves and Back Protectors (to the current safety standard) is recommended.

4. All dogs must be kept on leads (some clinics do not allow dogs please check with the host first)

5. Deposits are NON refundable and NON transferable cancellation by participants will still require a full payment - unless your place can be filled from a waiting list.  

6. No stallions (unless it is a private lesson)

7. Strictly NO RECORDING devices are to be used, you may be asked to leave the venue & delete the footage. 

8. ALL horses much be vaccinated against Equine Influenza.
