Welcome to our annual Cowboy Camp UK
Cowboy camp is a clinic like no other. It’s an opportunity to give purpose to your horses training, developing confidence body control and purpose. Over 4 days horses and riders are able to work through a series of different exercises spending time working cattle in and out of the arena, roping and working out on the trail. This picturesque farm provides the perfect environment to develop yours and your horse’s partnership, build confidence and most importantly have a lot of fun doing it.

Located close to the Berwickshire Coast in the southern Scottish Borders with exquisite panoramic views of the Tweed Valley, Cheviot Hills, Lammermuirs and the North Sea, and on it they organically farm free-range, cattle, pigs and sheep. The farm is organic and pasture-for-life certified.
This is a working farm, cow, sheep and pigs set in the beautiful Scottish Borders the perfect place to put your horsemanship to the test!
Each day we will go through our GRH program working through mental, physical and task based exercises as well as utilising the natural environment out on the trail with cattle to further develop your confidence and enhance the learning experience.

Cattle handling – cutting, sorting, penning

Cutting, sorting, penning
Doctoring – Sorting cattle in the pen and working them through the crush.

Working cattle in the herd out in the pasture

Introduction to Roping on the ground – building loops, swings and shots
Introducing horse to ropes

Trail Riding

Participant/Rider: £600 per rider/horse (includes a ready made electric grass pen)
*Horses must good behind electric fencing as there is no stabling

Stir fry made from Peelham Organic beef, crunchy veg and Chow Mein sauce.

BBQ – Peelham farm produce pork and chive burgers in a whole grain roll, potatoes and mixed salad.

Homemade Cottage Pie made from Peelham organic mince.

Chicken Korma and rice with a Naan bread on the side.

Pasta Bolognese made with Peelham organic mince.

1. All persons attending this clinic/lessons, whether participating or as a spectator, do so at their own risk. The Organisers and Landowners do not accept responsibility for any accidents to persons, their animals or property. Entries accepted & admission granted subject to these conditions
2. All participants are strongly advised to ensure that they carry adequate third party insurance cover.
3. Hard Hats up to current standard MUST BE WORN whilst mounted or handling any horse. The wearing of gloves and Back Protectors (to the current safety standard) is recommended.
4. All dogs must be kept on leads (some clinics do not allow dogs please check with the host first)
5. Deposits are NON refundable and NON transferable cancellation by participants will still require a full payment - unless your place can be filled from a waiting list.
6. No stallions (unless it is a private lesson)
7. Strictly NO RECORDING devices are to be used, you may be asked to leave the venue & delete the footage.
8. ALL horses much be vaccinated against Equine Influenza.
